Mon April 11, 2011, 12:10 pm: this morning Grant had an allergist appointment. Spencer said "Don't worry Granty, it will only hurt...A LOT." He was really trying to be nice.

I don't think there is anything in my fridge with soy but I'm glad Spencer is looking out for Grant. (they ended up with yogurt.)

Sun September 5, 2010, 9:19 pm: Spencer and I were just talking in bed. We were discussing how people learn to talk and that they learn from hearing other people. He said that he is going to teach grant to say hello and bye bye and bad words. I asked why he was going to teach Grant bad words and he said "That's what friends do"

Wed July 14, 2010, 7:43 am: Happy Birthday Spencer!!! We are headed to St Louis to see the Dinosaur Exibit at the garden. Can't beleive I have been at this parenting thing for 4 years!!!
Sat July 10, 2010, 3:03 pm: Spencer's birthday party was super fun. Grant hit naptime midway but my DH got him to sleep like a baby. Now Spencer and Grant are playiny with all of their awesome new Toy Story toys. "reach for the sky!!!"
Fri July 2, 2010, 9:12 pm: rocked Granty to sleep tonight. He hasn't allow that in months...maybe even a year. These 18 months have gone so fast. I remeber the helpless baby I brought home from the hospital...he looked a lot like the independent little boy I see running around the yard these days.

Thu May 6, 2010, 7:02 am: got up early enough this morning for yoga. Spencer caught the tail end. Some comments "you have to do what they're doing!" "you have to breathe" "wow you have to have a lot of yoga to do that!"
Sat April 24, 2010, 8:37 am: Spencer ate a peanut butter and ham sandwich for breakfast. He ate the whole thing. I am pretty grossed out.
Sun April 11, 2010, 8:47 pm: Spencer walks in the house and says "Mommy Grant need some Claratin." I asked Why. He says "Grant has really bad allergies and he's coughing. He needs to feel better"
Wed March 31, 2010, 8:21 pm: loves that Spencer is so laid back. I started a small greese fire tonight. Spencer watched the whole think and after the fire was out he said (cool as a cucumber) "Why did you blow that fire out?"

Mon February 22, 2010, 8:00 am: Spencer had a bad dream last night. First thing out of his mouth this morning. "I don't like that place; it had 5 washing machine that were all the same!" Any one know what you call a fear of laundromats?

Mon November 16, 2009, 8:32 pm: is thankful for Grant. When I picked him up from daycare he said "mama!" and started clapping. Yay!!!
Mon November 9, 2009, 8:12 pm: is thankful for a thankful heart. Writing a thankful post everyday changes how you look at life. Spencer also has a thankful heart. Today he stopped crying long enough to thank the nurse for giving him his flu shot.
