Your fitness challenge(s) for the week: week 5 pushups & week 7 of C25K
Your food challenge for the week: More water and count calories.
How well did it go: not such a great week. I got 2/3 of the 25 minute run but only 1/3 circuit workouts. I am up 1/2 pound (thanks mother nature).
Food and calorie counts are going well (though I am getting tired of putting in the effort to track every thing). I eat out once a week, sometimes not at all. Pack my lunch for work and cook from raw ingredients as much as I can. New this week, dried beans and veggie broth from trash. I drank 10 cups of water every day this week.
Failures and slip-ups: my battle with depression/anxiety are escalating (I assume related to our upcoming vaca but it is really affecting my day to day) I don't like meds but I may be headed there. (I am a pharmacist and i hate meds....irony)
Weekly challenge wisdom: Keep fighting! THis is a battle we can win.
Advice to fellow GET FIT members: now that I have done 200 situps for 6 weeks and complete the program I found the article on why crunched don't work so I will be replacing my crunches with hundreds and Maybe a plank or 2 because I love plank!
Goals this week:
C25K: Continuing to run 25 minutes three time a week. Working up to 2.5 miles Even if it takes more than 25 minutes. I am hoping to work up to a 10 minute mile. (I have been hanging out around 11-12 minutes)
Continue circuit training 3 days a week.
