Back to work

So I started back to work on Monday. I made a mistake by not introducing Grant to daycare before I went back to work so on monday; he was there for 9 hours on his very first day. It was rough for him. Day 2 went a bit better but he was only there for 5 hours so that may have had something to do with him being happier. I'm sure the day will come when he doesn't want to leave because he's having so much fun but for now I kind of like being missed.
Work went fine. Nothing too exciting. Breastpumping has become a new passtime of mine. I think I will be moving to a dairy farm soon.

Playing outside

We love spring!!! We have been playing outside a lot and leaving the windows open; It's heaven!
Grant is not too sure about the sun but the scenery change is nice.

Spencer really likes helping with yardwork, which is good since we are still cleaning up from the ice storm.

Big boys

Big new in the Davis House. Spencer is wearing underwear. Today is day 7 in big boy pants. We are not doing so well with the pooping in the potty but Spencer is a peeing superstar. Is it OK that I am talking so openly about bodily functions? I'm just so excited.
Speaking of bodily functions...Spencer is convinced that Grant is eating broccoli when he nurses. I don't know where this inclination came from but I think it's great that I can produce something so healthy for my baby. Grant must like the broccoli since he's up to 13 pounds!!

Look at those baby blues!!! I win!
At first I thought Spencer should be thing 1 but turns out in the book thing 2 comes out first. Now all we need are big blue wigs.

Back home

We've actually been back home for a couple of days but we are just now returning to something like normal. It's nice to be home. Nothing new to report otherwise.
