another super cool park in Japan

This one is only minutes away from Eileen's house...I am a bit jealous that Lana will get to live so close to this park.

A story about food and allergies

Before we came to Japan we sent a list of Grant's allergies.  Eileen's and her husband, Uta, translated the list and he is doing a great job reading food labels and helping us find foods Grant can eat.  We went to this restaurant last night.  They serve "Okinawa noodles", a local version of noodle soup.  Very yummy.  Uta told the waitress what Grant is allergic to and she asked the chef what he can order.  We ordered the one thing on the menu that was safe (for this kids to share).  When it came it was soup with mushroom and pig intestines. Both kids ate really well and seemed to enjoy the meal.  Will and i tried some too...i thought it tasted a bit like really dark meat chicken. I guess this is a really common thing to eat here.

Spo Cha = awesome indoor fun

Since it was raining all day yesterday we went to a really cool 6 story sport complex.  Tons of cool sports games and a kiddo play area (with massage chairs for mommies and comics for daddies while they watch the kids play).  The arcade games were free.  We had a great time.

did i mention the massage chairs?
