Hot day

We had the pool filled up today before daddy was even out of bed. it was crazy hot today. Check out Spencer's new trick. (Grant promptly stole my seat in the shade when I got up.)

Pictures of the playroom...note the TV so the kids can watch their movies and we can still use the big TV for grown-up shows...or just enjoy the quiet in the rest of the house.

We spent Spencer's birthday in StLouis at the botanical garden. They have an exibit right now called Dinoquest. Pictures to come.

Aunt Aya got Spencer a scooter for his birthday. It is allready a big hit!!

another great moment in parenting

I was in the bonus room wrapping a birthday present for Spencer while he was distracted. When I was done I set out to find Grant. This is what I found...Grant in a sink with an empty bottle of children's benadryl. There was a sticky puddle on the floor and the bottle was almost empty last time I used it. Lesson for Mommy...bathroom counter is not a safe place...even the back of the counter. (Usually when Grant sneeks off to the bathroom it is so he can brush his teeth with Spencer's toothbrush. )
