Post Op Report

Spencer's surgery went well. He had his adenoids removed, his tongue clipped (he was a little tongue tied...who knew) and one ear drained. No tubes...yay. He was very upset with the post op nurse when he woke up...I think he hit her. Once he had his mommy recovery went well. A bit of post op nausea and vomiting but otherwise without problems. Hopefully we are well on our way to a speedy recovery.

Indianapolis Children's Museum

There are a lot of trains here...there were at least 6 cases like this.

Grandpa these trains are like yours!!! Look it's a stockyard!!!

This puzzle growls when it is all put together.

Digging for dinosaur bones. They make blocks from shredded tires, gravel and glue and the kiddos get to chip away at the block looking for bones.

Grant is a baby dino, just hatched from his egg; Spencer is the mommy (maybe daddy) dinosaur keeping the other eggs safe and warm.

Spencer likes dressing up as a dinosaur, we had to go back 3 times to dress up.

The eggs needed to be moved from one nest to another. Good thing Spencer had help.

Had to test drive the race car. Not so much build for two year olds. GOODBYE DINO FRIENDS!!! We had fun visiting the museum.

Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous

After this we had to follow the band. Spencer wants to play the drums.

Grant was hot...I was too.

news from the ENT doctor

NO TUBES!!! Yay for us. Instead Spencer gets to have his adenoids removed instead. Not as simple as tubes but I won't have to deal with avoiding water in his ears all summer and it should still fix the problem. This procedure may actually make his allergies easier to treat, decrease ear infections and make colds heal quicker. It is a bit tougher to heal from but not as tough as tonsillectomy. We are on the books for surgery June 4th if I can find someone to work for me.
