potty post

All he did was stand there but it's a start; After this he put his pull up back on but he put it on side ways.  Silly Granty.

Great moments in parenting

So...Grant took a bite out of my deodorant...he came running to me crying, normally I would blame Spencer but I could see that in this case he didn't do anything.  There was something next to his mouth and all he would say is mouth.  Finally I said show me and he took me right to the bathroom and showed me a stick of degree with a bite missing.  I got Grant cleaned up and got him some milk, I changed his diaper but must have gotten distracted mid diaper change and didn't realize it until I heard Spencer say "Um...Grant's pooping on the table."  Ewww.

Most of the time I am very thankful that Grant is quiet and kind of a loner...until he eats deodorant and poops on my coffee table...all in silence.

I will post pictures of the kids doing something cute later this week and maybe pictures of our new digs but not poop.

Spencer telling a story

Last week when I picked Spencer up from school he was standing up in front of his whole class telling a story.  He's a great story teller.  I think he has a future in public speaking or entertaining or something.  This video was from his school talent show but at this point the talent show hadn't even started he was more the opening act.  (the story is the story of the bone-napper from "how to train you dragon".)

cute boys with a new toy

Grandma got these for Grant for Christmas and I will admit I thought they were a dud but to boys LOVE them.
On Grant's birthday Spencer stuck to 2 on Grant's belly.  I am surprised how well Spencer knows his numbers.  He can pick them out and put them in order (for the most part).  I think he's learning a lot at his new school.

So Long good friend, We will miss you

Very sad way to start the New Year.  We got a call to Daisy was hit by a car and did not survive.  Daisy was born December 12 2002 and came to Will and I July 6 2003.  She was the best dog ever.  She loved the kids and was so good with them even when they were a little rough.  She has been with us through several moves and really seemed to be enjoying life here in Oregon.  We will miss her so much!
